What’s Happening at Sweet Aviation

The aviation community is a group of like-minded, fun, and passionate individuals, and we try to find and create as many opportunities as possible to bring everyone together. So we’d love to see you at one of our upcoming events or classes! We’ll be updating this list monthly, so be sure to check back often. In fact, if there’s an aviation event or meeting you’d like to schedule at Sweet Aviation, get in touch with us. We’d be happy to host your event!

  • VMC/IMC Club presented by Sweet Aviation and EAA Chapter 2

Sweet Aviation and EAA Chapter 2 have teamed up to form a combined IMC and VMC Club. Join a community of pilots willing to share experience, promote safety, and help improve your IMC and VMC flying skills. Plus, you will receive FAA “WINGS” Pilot Proficiency credit for attending. Join us from 6-7:30 PM.

  • Rusty Pilots

Join us from 9AM–12PM for the AOPA Rusty Pilots Seminar, hosted by Sweet Aviation.

Life may have gotten in the way, but the dream of flight can be yours again. Returning to the skies is not as difficult as most rusty pilots think. We’re inviting you back in the cockpit and will help you get there.

Come and participate in this Rusty Pilots program with fellow lapsed pilots to understand what’s changed in aviation since you last took the controls and brush up on your aviation knowledge. We’ve partnered with the AOPA to create the best environment for getting you back in the air and a part of the general aviation community. It is easier than most people think — there’s no FAA check ride or test, and you might not even need a medical exam. Plus, by attending, you’ll be getting two to three hours of ground instruction towards your flight review!
