  • Sweet Aviation Open House

    Please join us for breakfast on Saturday, June 2 from 9am-12pm for an open house at Sweet Aviation. Whether you’re interested in flight training and certification or you just enjoy aviation and are looking for a free fun Saturday morning activity, everyone is welcome!

    We’ll have:
    -Free delicious hot breakfast
    -Free bounce house and other kids activities
    -Discounted airplane and helicopter rides
    -Cool military and service aircraft on display

  • Cirrus Pilot & Owners Workshop

    Come join us for a fun, educational event as we learn from local and regional Cirrus training experts – CSIPs, TCIs, and even official Cirrus Aircraft training representatives.

    Topics will include Human Factors, Partner in Command, Cross Country Planning, Weather, Takeoffs & Landings, and more!

  • Sweet Aviation Flyout: Tennessee

    We’re heading to the brand new Cirrus Vision Jet Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, and you’re invited! This state-of-the-art facility is where new Cirrus SR-series owners go to complete transition training and take delivery of their new airplanes, and soon will be the home of all Vision Jet deliveries! You’ll experience real Perspective avionics bench trainers to perfect your interaction with this complex panel and even get seat time in their high-end CAPS simulator where you’ll actually pull the ‘chute in several scenarios!

    After our Cirrus experience is concluded, we’ll fly to the historic Monell’s in Nashville for a world-class family-style dinner before flying back to Fort Wayne in the evening.

  • VMC/IMC Club presented by Sweet Aviation and EAA Chapter 2

    Sweet Aviation and EAA Chapter 2 have teamed up to form a combined IMC and VMC Club. Join a community of pilots willing to share experience, promote safety, and help improve your IMC and VMC flying skills. Plus, you will receive FAA “WINGS” Pilot Proficiency credit for attending.

    Join us the for these FREE meetings, 6-7:30 PM, on the 2nd Wednesday of every other month through November.

    START OF NEW SESSION! 

    This 12-week course is designed to cover the knowledge needed for the private pilot certificate. As part of the course, you will be provided with the appropriate materials. Choose between attending Saturday or Tuesday each week.
