Prerequisites:
- At least a Private Pilot Certificate.
- Current FAA Medical Certificate
Requirements:
- Complete a minimum of 30 hours flight training in a helicopter to include;
- 20 hours of dual flight including;
- 3 hours of dual cross-country
- 3 hours at night
- 3 hours in preparation for the Practical Flight Test
- 10 hours of solo flight including;
- 3 hours of solo cross-country time.
- 1 solo 100nm cross-country with landings at 3 airports and one 25nm leg.
- 3 takeoffs and 3 landings at an airport with an operating control tower.
- 20 hours of dual flight including;
- NOT required to pass an FAA Written Knowledge Test.
- Pass an FAA Oral and Practical Flight Test.
